The Western Kentucky DX Association (WKDXA) is hosting its first ever “DX Workshop” to be held on Oct 4th, 9am-4pm, at the Bowling Green Library, Bob Kirby Branch. We have some outstanding speakers, that are experts in their fields, and several sponsors who have provided a lot of door prizes (with a special additional drawing for 18 & younger). For the first 40 registrants we have a special gift bag full of loot with two door prize raffle tickets (others just get one). The sessions include basic instruction on operating “DX.” If you have ever wanted to learn how to effectively talk to the other side of the planet via Amateur Radio, we will show you. Free lunch & drinks are included with your registration.

The Western Kentucky DX Association meets on the first Friday of each month at Split Tree Bar-B-Que at 115 Wilson Rd. (just off Scottsville Road), Alvaton, KY. Click here for their website.
