On Oct 18 (Saturday) we will be hosting the local area Boy Scouts in conjunction with JOTA (Jamboree On The Air) event Rain-or-Shine. Location is Preston Miller Park in Bowling Green, Shelter #1 (water, bathrooms, and electricity available). Setup at 8:00am and start time is 9:00am. Click here for a map. The DX Workshop held on Oct 4th was a highly successful event with 57 attendees. We will have photos and more information on the event to come.
The Western Kentucky DX Association meets on the first Friday of each month at Split Tree Bar-B-Que at 115 Wilson Rd. (just off Scottsville Road), Alvaton, KY. Click here for their website. Our December meeting will not be held on Dec 5th at Split Tree Bar-B-Que but instead will be held Dec 6th (Saturday) at the Bob Kirby Branch Bowling Green Library (room-1), 10am for a Pot Luck Brunch.
